Kershaw Is Sunshine From Remember The Titans

by

Currently watching Clayton Kershaw own the Mets, with help from home plate umpire Greg Gibson.

It is especially annoying getting owned by a guy that looks like Sunshine from Remember The Titans.

Clayton, is that you?

Kershaw was currently pitching against a AAA team with aspirations, and Beltran ( due for an off day ), Pagan ( due for an off day ) and Bay ( who had another hiccup).
    (1) The kid id good but I think, not that good imo that if we had our full complement of regular players, minus the bad calls, we would not have been able to acquit ourselves better and put up more of a fight. Our current roster of learning on the job, overachieving kids were due for a loss among their stellar accomplishments. Kudos to them.
    (2) We took the series, and I am so proud of them for that, but I think they’re getting a little worn out. Big league play will do that to the neophytes and the few guys left can only do so much.
    (3) As I have said before, the umpiring is appalling. The rules need to be revised and there should be some sort of penalty accessed on those who make more than a certain number of bad calls. Either they get sent down or are send back to umpiring 101 class. I believe I read an article a while ago about a female umpire in the minors who has been acknowledged as excellent but has never been called up because, well …you see where I’m heading…some things never change without much kicking and screaming.

P.S. Yes, he does look like Sunshine, minus the facial hair.

p.p.s.Our all thumbs defense, most unusual, did not help our cause either : (
